  11.   This program doesn't have a documentation because it's nearly self-explaining
  12.   and it would cost me much more work. It is one program which allows to
  13.   configure all datatypes of Andreas R. Kleinert ( GIF, JFIF, LJPG, PNG, SVG ).
  14.   This program was written in E (thanks Wouter) and uses the "bgui.library"
  15.   (thanks to Jan and Ian).

  20.     This software is stated in the PUBLIC DOMAIN so you can do with that
  21.     package what you want. You are using this piece of software at your
  22.     own risk, so the author can not be held responsible for any problem
  23.     occuring with it.

  26.   INSTALLATION
  27.   ------------

  29.     Copy the file "akPrefs_D.catalog" (german users) or "akPrefs_S.catalog" to
  30.     the desired location.
  31.     The translation files for these catalogs are also included, so you can
  32.     make your own translation if you want to. Simply write to the file
  33.     "akPrefs_Blanko.ct". After your translation I will generate the catalog
  34.     and put them to the distribution.
  35.     The program itself is called "akPrefs" and can be placed anywhere on your
  36.     harddisk. On my system it is located at "PREFS:Datatypes/" as an example.

  39.   HOW TO USE
  40.   ----------

  42.     If the window appears you can see a cycle-gadget at the top and a row
  43.     of buttons at the bottom. The cycle-gadget contains the name of the
  44.     current selected datatype (f.e. JFIF means configuration for akJFIF.datatype).
  45.     You can switch between the datatypes while pressing this gadget or
  46.     simply pressing the <SPACE>-key. If you have selected the "JFIF" page
  47.     you can switch between general and special settings by pressing the
  48.     "+"-key. If you want to use the settings for a datatype temporarily
  49.     you have to switch to the page of this datatype and then press the
  50.     middle button of the button-row below. If you want to save them for
  51.     all time then press the left button of this row. If you want to exit
  52.     this program you have to press the right button. Whenever you are
  53.     pressing the left or the middle button only the configuration files
  54.     of the current selected datatype are changed, so if you want to
  55.     store the configurations of all datatypes, you have to select all
  56.     pages and then press the middle or left button.

  77.     1.2  : The message "Not enough memory available !" occured while
  78.            saving the configuration. This error is a result of the
  79.            new layout because the type of the gadget to switch between
  80.            the datatypes has changed. Sorry, for this.
